The Safari Chair is a contemporary take on an African safari staple: the camp chair. Our version features reclaimed French Oak from decommissioned wine barrels sourced from wine estates in South Africa's Western Cape wine region. Extending the life of this heritage oak into fine furniture preserves its unique character and history through carefully crafted classic and contemporary designs. Each chair frame is made from brandy and red wine barrel staves. A sustainably-sourced Springbok hide or Zebra hide chair back is available at an additional charge. Due to the use of natural materials, each piece is unique and may vary slightly from image shown.
